OpenSimSim : The Blog

Dear Friends,

we are an open source architecture network based in Berlin called OpenSimSim.At the moment we are initiating a 72hr worldwide workSprint in order to create a sustainable project for Japan. This project will be developed by people in various cities around the world (Tokyo, Chennai, Moscow, Berlin, Madrid, Pisa, Torino, Lisbon, New York, Kansas).

WE HAVE …. 
highly motivated architects, designers, thinkers and creative individuals in 8 cities worldwide that want to work collaboratively together for a good cause. 500+ people want to donate their knowledge, time and passion to help the people of Japan. Well-known specialists in sustainability, post-disaster reconstruction and other important disciplines will support us during the 72hours. Sponsors are donating their spaces, equipment, beverages etc. in order to keep us working. 

WE BELIEVE …. 
in the power of crowd-sourcing to find a reasonable project to work on.

WE NEED …. 
more access to affected people in Japan having specific reconstruction needs.We are looking for a long-term incubator project that can be worked out during our 72h-work-Sprint.

  東北地方太平洋沖地震により被害を受けられた皆さまに心よりお見舞い申しあげます。
  OpenSimSimはベルリンに拠点を置く、建築家、デザイナーのオープンソース・ネットワークです。  私たちは東北地方太平洋沖地震の復興支援として、72時間ワークセッションを世界各地で同時に開催する事としました。ワークセッションではサステナビリティ、つまり地球環境保護の観点から、被災地復興を考え、世界各国の人々から寄せられたアイディアを更に展開していきます。

WE HAVE ….

  世界8つの都市から意欲的な建築家、デザイナー、クリエイター、思想家たちが集まり、被災地復興へのアイディアを、共同で創り上げていきます。分野も多岐に渡る500人以上の参加者が一体と り、知識、情熱をフルに作動させ、日本をサポートするために時間を共有します。サステナビリティ、災害復興の過去事例等に関連した分野を中心として著名な専門家も招かれています。
  又、このワークセッションの会場、設備、飲み物に至りスポンサーの提供にて72時間開催されます。

  被災地復興を援助するための適確な手段を見つけるにあたり、クラウドソーシングが大きな力となる事と信じています。

WE NEED ….   

具体的な再建の需要に近づくため、日本の被災者の方々や現地を訪れた方、被災地現状理解に努めていらっしゃる方からの更なる参加を求めております。
  72時間ワークセッションの間で展開できる可能性のある長期的視野における提案を募集しています。
